Facebook is milking their users for all the nuggets of information that they can in order to boost their advertising campaign. You can read their privacy statement on the website, which will corroborate everything you find in the link I just posted above.

There’s a huge potential for the information that the users post to come back around and bite them in the asses. People are posting pictures of themselves drunk at parties, barfing up their Panchero’s, and anything idiotic they generally do.

Facebook recently added a feature called, “The News Feed,” that allows a user to track almost everything their “friends” do on Facebook: commenting, becoming friends with someone else, joining a group, attending an event, not attending an event, etc. It seems that there has been a quite a widespread negative response in general, as many students have become members of groups with affectionate monikers as, “Facebook is Creeping Me Out.”
Are you creeped out yet? This dude is. Maybe Facebook knows where I can get a good burrito, because they know I’m hungry.
