Chris Tucker
I am assuming Chris Tucker’s agent took a few million dollars of Chris Tuckers’ money and retired to a beach. The reason I think this is that Chris Tucker was one of the most popular and highest paid actors in the world in the 1990’s. His characters were all memorable and his projects ranged from co-starring with Jackie Chan in a major franchise to appearing in a Tarantino flick to stealing the show in my favorite movie of all-time, Friday.

Then if you followed his career, you would know, that he had a few projects announced and they never saw light of day. The last time we saw him in a feature film was in 2001 in Rush Hour 2. The previous film before that was the original Rush Hour in 1998. That means Chris Tucker has EXCLUSIVELY been Detective James Carter for almost a decade. I chalk this up to his manager of course being on vacation, sipping mai tai’s and fraternizing with interns somewhere.

Now that the agen’t money is gone, he has found his way back into Chris Tucker’s life. In this process the agent felt that Chris should stick with the James Carter gig and make Rush Hour 3 rather than take any other chances.

I am a huge fan of CT and Rush Hour, so the fact that they are currently filming this is awesome news for me. My beef is with whoever was in charge of CT’s career for this last 5 or so years. They robbed us of great entertainment, robbed Chris of money, and ironically allowed Chris to get husky.
