I found this clip of Jack Benny and Liberace on good old YouTube, and was struck by the similarity to John Ashcroft’s later rendition of what seems to be the same tune. I’m not sure which is worse, though. At least the former is intended to be funny. (And nothing’s funnier than Jack Benny playing the violin. Although the further question will naturally arise as to who is more flaming: JB or Liberace. Ashcroft definitely is the beefcake of the 3.) Check it out:
