I think Jeff Babineau got hosed. It is total bullshit. I don’t need to read the article to know that neither he nor any of their writers say that Tiger should be lynched. The cover was obviously taking a shot at Golf Channel and how they “hanged” themselves with their own stupid remarks. (And Golf Channel’s remarks, while dumb, were probably not meant in a racist way.) Golfweek wasn’t condoning the lynching of blacks.

Ask yourself: who was the target of Golfweek’s cover? It sure as shit wasn’t Tiger. It wasn’t black people in general. So why should its mere appearance be so vilified? Total bullshit. Some people just go too far with their sense of revenge.
