NASCAR Driver Tony Stewart Punches Kurt Busch After Another Wreck

Tony Stewart vs Kurt Busch

Tony Stewart could be the most talented race car driver in all of NASCAR.  He was won 2 Sprint Cup championships in the #20 Home Depot car for Joe Gibbs Racing is considered a top tier open-wheel race car driver as well.  Kurt Busch drives the #2 Miller Lite car for Penske Racing and won the Sprint Cup championship in 2004.

Both drivers are known for their antics on and off the race track.  Stewart has been fined numerous times, docked points, and even placed on probation for his behavior.  Busch, who’s brother younger brother Kyle also races in NASCAR, has the dubious honor of being one of GQ’s top 3 most hated athletes.  He also has been fined and he was suspended for two races for a drunk driving investigation which ultimately cost him two spots in the final standings.

In a practice session for the kickoff of the NASCAR season in Daytona, these two drivers had another run-in similar to one they had before in Dover four months ago that lead to Busch nearly running over a member of Stewart’s pit crew, costing him $100,000 and 100 points.  The two were called into the governing body’s trailer for this latest incident and it is reported by ESPN that Tony Stewart punched him in the face after Busch insulted him.  NASCAR has warned them to stay clear of each other and may hand out sanctions this week.  More details of this story will surely be released soon.

John Tucker Must Get Punched by Wanna Be Rapper Mams

Jesse Metcalfe vs Mams Taylor

Actor Jesse Metcalfe, star of John Tucker Must Die, Desperate Housewives, and the soap opera Passions, was involved in an altercation outside of the Nicole Khristine Jewelry launch at Boulevard 3 nightclub.  Apparently Metcalfe was talking to actress Taryn Manning and her boyfriend, British wanna be rapper Mams Taylor got jealous and jacked him right in the face.  The whole ordeal was caught by paparazzi cameras at Pacific Coast News and is recorded on video at TMZ.com.

After the first sucker-punch knockout, Metcalfe tried to talk to Taylor and tried to go after him but security slowed him and the bootleg “B. Rabbit” was having nothing to do with it.  A little bit after that, Metcalfe got his crew together and went to the nightclub Social where Manning and Taylor were and left with “grins on their faces“.  The photographs of that second incident show that the muscle-bound fake “MC Serch” didn’t appear to be as good of a fighter when he didn’t have the opportunity to steal on someone.

MORE GUNS, MORE GUNS, MORE GUNS

Posted In: News, People, Politics, Propaganda, Random Lashing Out

Chant it with me.

In light of the terrible City Council shootings and the Lousiana Technical College shootings, I’m wondering how proponents of the NRA can argue that we need more guns. The NRA will probably try to claim that, had the victims been armed, the attempting murderers would’ve been stopped in a careful and rational way. What do I mean by “stopped”?

One of the headlines on the NRA’s site today (2/9/2008) is “Store owner fatally shot suspected thief.” The part that really gives the NRA a rock-hard boner is “fatally.” There’s nothing like killing, and if we can do it with the law on our side, all the better.

Of course, I’m all for the claim that killing in self-defense is justified. But, do I really want to be around lots of people who are all armed and are constantly getting itchy trigger finger because they know that everyone around them has guns? Do we really think that they would become better judges of when and how to use a gun? I think people would become more irrational. Why? Because people are scared of dying, and nothing breeds irrationality more than fear.

In a culture where we all have guns, people would constantly fear for their lives and there would be death all over the place.

But maybe that’s what the NRA wants. Maybe they want us to extinguish ourselves, all in the name of the law. We’ll all kill each other in the name of self-defense…

Shit, even the Teletubbies would constantly be ready to pop a cap at the slightest provocation….
